newbie reporting

Hi all,
I've joined as member for sometime and this is my first post, been reading this forum for some months.
As long as my memory can serve me, I am always be fascinated by the sky. I always gaze at the stars when there is a clear sky. (no money to buy anything when I was still young
)
Now that I'm working, I finally started this like what all the master here adviced, binocular. I got myself a nikon action 10x50 and whenever there's a clear sky, I would spray myself with mosquito repellent and lay down on the stone chair at the playground near my house and looking at the wonderful night sky.
Glad that I can finally proceed a step further from naked eyes stargazing.
Finally, thanks in advanced for answering all the silly questions I may throw in future.
