Is anyone going for Vixen GEM?

Here is the place to talk about all those equipment(Telescope, Mounts, Eyepieces, etc...) you have. Not sure which scope/eyepiece is best for you? Trash it out here!

Vixen GEM is now available with USD500 rebate. It is quite a lot. Is anyone going to get them?

After you used skysenor GOTO or other GOTOs before, you will realise that there is something about Sphinx that turns you off.

Sorry, its just a personal opinion, i have nothing against Sphinx owners.

The G-11 is for the CHHS Astronomy Club. CHHS stands for Chong Hwa High School which is my secondary school.

I thought the SkySensor is cool? More opinion please. I'm quite attracted by SXD deluxe. You pay $500 more to jump from EQ-6 Pro to SXD Deluxe. By the way, does the tracking performance of the EQ-6 Pro or HEQ-5 Pro come closeto the SXD?
Clear skies,
Robin.

Hi,
Anyway, the topic title is a bit misleading. It's applied only to Sphinx SXD mount.

Have a nice day.
