Eyepiece screw

Does anyone know where to buy eyepiece/barlow screw here? According to Weasner's ETX website the screw size is 3MM dia. by 0.5MM thread pitch.

You can look at the Commercial & Industrial Guide phone book and look under 'screws'. You will need such specialty screw shops as the size is uncommon.

There is 1 at Ubi called 'Yong Seng'. You can bring down a sample for them to take a look. You will need thumb screws and not the normal ones. Try to get nylon screws as they will not mar your eyepiece barrels. Do bring along a couple of eyepieces with your diagonal/barlow to make sure the grip is not too large such that the eyepiece interferes with the grip.

There is quite a few hardware shop at Kitchener Street too, some specialised in selling screw and nuts. You might want to try there.

you can also try Poey Huat Hardware at 31, Kelantan Lane near Sim Lim Tower.
They stock all types of screws and bolts....I'm not sure if they are still there but I managed to buy the ETX base plate bolts from them...
