Links Page does not display correctly.

Have some suggestions to improve the site? Let's discuss it here....Might do some tests here as well

Links Page does not display correctly.

Post by Airconvent »

Hi Admin,
The links page does not seem to display correctly. By default I see the submission page together with the links page and there are alot of funny code displayed. Also, the page is is bigger than 1024 x 768! This would mean majority of users have to scroll sideways..can you please check it out?
Thanks

I did see yesterday at around 6pm the problem of the page bigger which require scrolling sideways when I was reading VinSnr's review.

sigh...as I suspected, the site admin are supporters of the "evil empire"...
the page displays correctly on IE but not Netscape 7...

btw, under the "link to singastro" portion at the top left corner, I see the following gibberish:

<a href="http://www.singastro.org/" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.phpbb2.de/banner/phpbb2_de_logo.gif" width="88" height="31" border="0" alt="Singastro.org" /></a>

anyone has problems with his? it does not display correctly on my pc even for IE 6.0

also, while the logos are correctly displayed next to the link on Netscape 7, IE does not show them at all...

hi yong quan,
strange...I don't know what the original link page should look like...
i tried accessing from my office pc using xp and ie and the images can't display properly and the link logos appear on the sinagstro.org forum index page. for my home pc, I get gibbersih codes and need to go into the forum to see some of the logos...(others not displaying). any ideas how to rectify this?
i also posted 2 new links for consideration...did the post reach you or vince snr via Pm as I'm not sure how the feedback system work?

Hi Mr "Quack"
I think the links bar still need some finetuning as it still does not display correctly, whether in Netscape or IE... Can you look into it when you are free?

To everyone else : The links page is for people to recommend really good astro resource sites. If you have any, do send to Yong Quan to add it in.

For now, I think http://www.weasner.com/etx/menu.html is a good link to add as it is the BEST resource site for all ETX users.

Is it regarding the links displayed as a red cross instead? If that's the case, there's no problem with it as there are no pictures assosicate to the website linked to it. For example, if you submit a link, it is best to submit it with a button picture to support it or a red cross will appear in it place as there's no button size picture. And the link for the etx users is already there since october 2003 submitted by chee chien.
