Very High Sensitivity CCD & Related Questions

Post by Lee »

Dear guys,

I got a specific application and needs some inputs :-

OTA is either 90mm / 125 mm @ f/13 via 1/3 or 1/4 CCD
I need to resolve a 'maybe slow moving color target' better than 5mm at a distance of 500m during the Day / Night(moonlight condition) on a PC/LCD Monitor

1. Any references where I can calculate target absolute resolution in 'mm' given the OTA diameter & FL, CCD size and distance from object.

2. Recommendation of very high sensitivity 1/3 or 1/4 CCD of better than
0.005 for Color Image & o.oooo1 for B/W Image

3. Recommendation of a very high quality 'Zoom' eyepiece which can coupled to the above CCD to meet the specification.

4. Is there any CCD with Video out + USB as one.

5. Recommendation for very high resolution LCD monitor > 20" that can meet the above specs.

Thanks
and please don't ask me what's the target -----> [smilie=robot.gif]
