Lunar Mosaic 08-Sep-08

Post by boothee »

Hi,

The sky was very clear on 07th midnight. So I tried to take the picture of the whole moon. I need to take 4 avis to cover the whole moon with my telescope's native focal length. Here is the result after stacking all the avis. The picture is the mosaic of 4 pics :).

First picture is grayscale picture and the second picture is original color picture. Resized.

Stacked in Registax.
Stitch in iMerge.
Edit a bit in CS3.

Hi,

Thanks cataclysm & Clifford60 for your comments.

I really love that pic. I'm glad you like it too. Here is the bigger original version of that picture.
