Don't think there is a black SE?
All their SEs are orange as far as I know.
I'm quite tempted to get this if someone can find a simple way to remove the C8 from my Nexstar 8 and mount it on the SE mount. Then my old classic mount will be on the buysell market along with an N6 OTA!

How come from teh photo it looks like a 8"?

It is definitely a 6"...scope looks larger because how the photo is taken... :) it look larger then a kitchen hob...and washing machine.
Taken with a wide angle lens close to the scope. Very small aperture with a good depth of field.
try looking at the power pack at th bottom...you will get the feeling of it size.

Umm..perhaps this is how some short gals can be made to look tall, and chubby ones look slim...ooppss.....OT.
