Hi guangwei, I am interested, but when and where are you going to hold your obs? How abt a Geminids obs on Pulau Ubin somewhere around the next weekend? The weather these few days seem more merciful and the grounds there are less light polluted.

Ok, we can keep this as the tentative plan, wait for more ppls to response. I most prob will bring along my non-astro fren as the other time i brought him to see the Orionids and we saw only 2, thus he is alittle disappointed. Geminids should yeild better results

I think Pulau Ubin would be gd, as the skies there are darker and the trees near the Thai temple can help block out the sky glow. But we might need to prepare things like tents just in case it rains. I think changi beach is also not bad as we can save up $4 of boat fare and there are quite alot of shelters near by, but the light pollution from the newly erected park facilities along the coast might be a cause of concern. Anyone bringing scopes along?
