i buy a TMB 80CF,and use the tube and feather touch made a LOMO 80/480,so i used this 80/504lens made this telecopes,Alu tube and 1:10CRAYFORD focus.i made it cost about us300,so all 650 is too cheap.and i have a new AT106LE,i can sale it usd1100,http://www.astronomics.com/main/product ... AT106LEand a SV105APO,sale it US1950,http://www.stellarvue.com/svr105.html
my job is testing telecopes,so i have lots of lens and telecopes.

Hi, I've received photos from you through email. The photos show that it is not the TMB carbon fiber tube telescope which is displayed on the Astronomics internet link above (selling for US$1395 new).

Hence i will not be buying it. Thanks.

I think the OP mentioned above that it is the lens from a TMB 80CF, in a DIY Alu tube and probably a Jinghua or Synta 10:1 Crayford.

Edit: it's a triplet so not equivalent to the usual 80mm ED tubes out there.

I believe this is a TMB-designed but fabricated in China lens.. so kind of equivalent mechanically to an AT80ED ($750 USD -- or similar) but with the triplet lens. Not too bad a price I suppose.. although would be concerned if the focuser is orthogonal to the DIY tube.

AT80ED is a 80/F7,this one is F6.3,Totally different.
