Some Pictures from July Punggai Trip

I never has such luck on pass trips to Mersing, but this was my first time to Punggai, and we got 2 clear nights, must be my 1st timer's luck, what joy! No dodging clouds this time, instead the imaging gears were working overtime for 2 nights. The images below were all captured with modified Canon 350D dslr and Takahashi FSQ 85. And since the images were not croped, they were framed as shot, this presented an interesting perspective on their relative size.

The Baby Q's fov coupled with 350D was just barely able to cover M8, M20 & the less frequently imaged NGC6559. 8 x 8 mins subs.

Compare to M8 and M20, M31 is enormous! 8 x 8 mins subs.

This Antares region is the hardest of the 3 to image. Requires longer imaging time to reveal those faint nebulous regions. 13 x 8 mins sub.

Great shots!
A question from a newbie: How does it work?

When you attach a camera to the telescope, are you imaging at the Baby Q's focal length of 450mm (ie 9x mag) or is the power increased by some other eyepieces/magnifier? Thanks for the advice!
