Hi shoelevy,
Astromart is a good place to find equipment (used) at good prices. In many cases, you could get like-new equipment at used market prices. I remember there was this time when a few of us Singastro guys were involved in a mad hunt for the Celestron C5 (myself included

) on Astromart.
I think fellow member 'ariefm71' managed to get his 8" Celestron SCT from astromart recently too.
where to find?

On the issue of quality, this is a risk we all take when dealing on astromart.
What we usually do to mitigate these risks are to buy from those who have earned a decent rating (stars) and good feedback from others who bought from them previously - especially when we are looking at buying a high value item. Astromarters are also generally quite friendly, so if you want to be more assured, you can actually give the seller a call to find out more especially if you're buying something that's of high value. They'll be pleased to hear from fellow amateur astronomers from the other side of the world.
As a 3rd party, I can only say that the gentleman who's selling the C9.25 you're interested in seems to have a very good reputation on Astromart - based on his ratings. He has 146 stars under his name.
thanks

Yup, got it from Astromart. Was quite lucky the seller agreeable to ship to singapore and accept paypal, not all of them are willing, don't know why

shoelevy, how do you plan to mount the ota? for 9 1/4, you'll need a very sturdy mount (giro-2, unistar hd, or vixen gp) and a heavy duty tripod. you can contact sam ng for giro-2 info.
