Cat's Paw Nebula in Scorpius

Post by rcj »

Located near the previous posted nebula (NGC 6357), the iconic Cat's Paw Nebula (NGC 6334) presented in bicolor. However, this time, the OIII data (120min) is dominant compared to the HA data (which is just 60min). However, still, the HA is overwhelming, not surprising for an almost purely emissive nebula.

Again, the OIII data was found stashed in the HD containing the other OIII data from the previous nebula. Must have been an oxygenIII night that was long forgotten! Ok, that's it for this weekend!
