Test Market: Selling a Celestron C8 [SOLD] - Thanks David!

Post by ariefm71 »

Hi, I'm thinking of selling my "light bucket" C8 set up:

Complete Setup (Sold to David):
- Celestron C8 Schmidt-Cassegrain OTA with Starbright Coatings (4yr old)
- Celestron C8 Fork mount and Wedgepod (integrated wedge and tripod)
- Celestron 6x30mm finderscope
- Celestron 1.25" Visual Back
- 25mm Plossl
- Bob's Knobs
- Orion flexi dew shield for 8" SCT
Price: SGD1300.00

Cosmetic and optical condition is 8.8/10 (can check with weixing for his review). If sky is clear tomorrow (15th), i should be observing either in Bedok or Tampines. PM me if you want to join.

Currently negotiating with someone, will wait until sunday for his decision. In the mean time, let me know if anyone is interested

clear skies,
Arief

The C8 has been sold, thanks for all the interest!
Anyone here with 3" - 4" semi-APO OTA for sale? Also consider Intes MK-67 OTA (debash, are you selling yours? ). Will be mounted on a Unistar heavy deluxe mount (standard 2" saddle plate).

clear skies,
Arief

Hi,
I think there isn't any semi-APO in 3"-4" range. If you think C8 is not portable, then you should forget about the MK-67... Although MK-67 is only 6", it is as big and heavy as your C8... :)

May be you can consider my 5" MCT... ha ha ha !!! :P :P

Have a nice day.
