Re: Getting a DUAL-CORE processor???

AMD X2 is the way to go, but AMD is coming out with their new AM2 socket early June, so I guess it's better to wait for the 2nd generation of dual core. The first generation CPUs are usually out to test stability and marketability. but d only bad thing is intel has not sort out their heat issu...

though a little off topic here, AGP 8x has barely a 5-10% performance increase over AGP 4x, and the same goes for the comparison between PCI-e 16x and AGP 8x. not much difference IMHO.

Prices of AMD + motherboard + heatsink usually becomes higher than Intel + motherboard (using their default heat sink will do). But recently, i heard AMD invited ...

I would say it depends on what type of computer work you're gonna do. If gaming, multimedia and graphics, AMD would be the ideal choice. Althought being an Intel user myself, I would say that Intel usually excels in encoding stuffs, like audio and video compressions, and non-graphical stuffs (calcul...

As for me, I would say that the Space Shuttle was meant to be a reusable space vehicle to save costs. However after all the accidents and disasters, the costs for the improvements made and with the 2 space shuttles already "gone", seems like they're not saving costs at all. Mission specifi...

I think it's because that the Americans are more cautious in their space launches, so they delay them. After all, with so many accidents and disasters in their aeronautics history, I'm not surprised that they'll do as much as possible to ensure safety.
