I would be happy to invite my school astro club down too, but the timing is a little odd for us to bring our telescopes there (ie. cannot return the scopes back to the school at 11+pm...)

Haha only 3 secondary schools? I believe there are plenty more... ACS, with their own observatory, Swiss Cottage Sec, Bendemeer Sec, etc etc etc...

At around 7+, i was near the city area and could still see those 2 planets. And from where i was viewing (ie. family's car, heading home), the city acted as a foreground with the two planets above the skyscrapers. Beautiful picture u can take from there, but i had no camera with me

Well i reached home quite late, so the two planets were already quite low. I quickly set up my camera outside my house, and without any high ground, i had to deal with the street lights...

Hmm... apparently that's not so from my place... sky looks good. Took a few shots, but the street lights around my place sort of ruin the pictures. Will look through later...

Honestly, I expected such high salaries for the NKF CEO. I mean, every year, they have that charity show, and earn millions out of it. But it's really amazing how our money can become a gold tap. :wink: I think NKF should release their spending statistics to big time donators, and inform them about ...

Hi, Our astro team started in the late 1990s (by students), so it's rather recent. And whether an alumni can use the equipment really depends. :| Well, as for my school taking such a scope, i doubt it'll work. My school bought only 1 out of the 6 scopes we have (cheapo ya..) :) Hmm... anyway my scho...
