Unfortunate, I was indoors at that time. I did however catch a really bright meteor streak by around 1+ am across Hercules i think, comparing it to the brightness of Jupiter. It was probably only slightly dimmer. Definitely much brighter than Vega.

Mmmm... can anyone confirm this but Lyra will be barely above the north eastern horizon by midnight on the 18th?
