G'day Andy,

I don't have any problem getting in. Here's a screenshot of a test I just did:

thanks,, must be something in my laptop.. or my wifi settings.. I will check this from my mobile connection tomorrow.

something is fishy with my network.. I am on starhub fibre as well as mobile and from both I get that error. When I use a VPN software, I am able to access the site. Need to call starhub support tomorrow.

Hmm. I've got the same error code 1020. Maybe it rejects connections from Sg?

yes.. thats proven. I tried two different ways
1) Use expressVPN and connect to a server in US and then login and it works fine..
2) Use Browsec extension in chrome which works the same way as VPN and connect to a server outside Singapore and it worked as well.

They have some acessories at very good price but an email response from them seems to suggest that they dont ship internationally for Meade, Celestron etc.. they dont have such restrictions on demo/user equipments but new equipments have this international shipping restriction. Guess this is probably because most manufacturers have local dealers/resellers and as such they dont want to jeopardize their business.

Even though we can open Astro Shop websites from across the world we can't buy many items from them, and definitely not Telescopes or mounts.
We have to buy from dealers here in Australia.
All Overseas shops say they can't send to Australia because companies like Meade, Celestron etc won't let them. And if we manage to get one to bend the rules it's not covered by warranty!
But I don't understand why a shop would block a country from opening their site.
