This month marks the 10th year of singastro in the form of web forum after its migration from a yahoogroup.
Just want to say a big THANK YOU to:
(1) Administrators and Moderators for maintaining this forum and to ensure it is a friendly place for all.
(2) Those who have contributed funds for the web-hosting of this forum.
(3) Content contributors to the forum which attract others to join the forum and visit it regularly.
Not many local forum survive its first 5 years, let alone 10.
So give yourselves a good pat on the back, crack open the champagne bottles and let's toast to 10 more great years and many more ahead!

Oh wow thanks Gary for reminding us of this milestone! Hard to believe its ten years since the forum was first started and how much opposition we faced when we first started on this endeavour. Here's hoping for more good years! :-)

Re: 10 Years of Web Forum Excellence
oh yes, I still remember we met at the restaurant of ritz carlton for discussion on whether to move to a web forum or remain at yahoo group. And also whether to register as a official astronomy group which the later didn't go through. Then the webforum went into making after I got home as per my join date, the singastro logo, images and templates were then updated over the days by weicong.acc wrote:Oh wow thanks Gary for reminding us of this milestone! Wow...the Perfect 10! Thanks for remembering Gary and to the system administrators and founders past and present for setting this forum up. I'm just a user also although I try to do my part to help out...
