Astro Sites with Archeological significance in London?

Post by Lee »

1st time visiting London with family maybe in early July and has at least 5 days to spare.
Those who been there could you suggest some 'Must Visit' places which are of Astronomical and Archaeological significance.
Thanks,
Lee

Well, one place you MUST visit is the Royal Observatory Greenwich, http://www.rmg.co.uk/royal-observatory
This is now a museum, but exhibits go back to its founding in 1675. Lots of old telescopes to see, a planetarium and of course you can place one foot on each side of the world's Prime Meridian.

Go well!
