Yup, Jeff was right. At that time, I thought I was one of the rare few in Singapore dabbling in astronomy!

I suppose things really started taking off with Singastro the yahoogroup, followed by Singastro the web forum.

After my interest was rekindled, i searched the web for astronomy shops and came across wee kiong. he introduced me to singastro where I joined my first session at eunos and peeked through remus's FC60 at 300x on Jupiter! I was directed to marina first but the location was changed to eunos at the last minute. there I also met chee chien and his "meat grinder" ETX90... [smilie=cool.gif]...and wira.
weeks later I purchased my first scope scope, an ETX90RA from Hommel (Jeff)... [smilie=admire.gif]
