That one is the front advert page. Flip over to the front page proper.

Thanks guys. If not for the support of forum members here, Toa Payoh stargazing would have not been possible and lasted long enough for the media to take notice.

Time flies. 21 Sept 2012 felt like yesterday when we conducted our first Toa Payoh Public Library talk. (viewtopic.php?f=5&t=11371)

Sincerely hope more will contribute some of their time and effort to spread astro in their own neighbourhood. This is the only sustainable way to promote astro locally in the long term without feeling the astro burnout travelling to distance places frequently or being too disruptive to other priorities in our lives.

Speaking of warrior, I am not worthy of such a title. In today's MyPaper, the story of Dr Ng helping Indonesia's poor is much more inspiring. He is the true warrior and that report is more deserving of being published on the front page than mine:

I'm sure there's a typo somewhere but must quote this for posterity.

wow...TWO articles on astronomy. Congrats on being a celebrity.....again, Gary! :)
Looks like you are getting more and more famous. Maybe Mac should sponsor you...like free burgers and drinks in return for wearing mac T-shirt and a mac logo on your scope at the event...haha.

McD is already getting more sales from the sidewalkers and the public they attract without sponsoring anything. So I think they will just continue to enjoy the slight increase in profit, keep quiet and do nothing. :)
