Hi!
I have a Celestron Evolution Alt-Az mount. I have been thinking of attaching my Nikon 300mm telephoto lens for wide field astrophotography. The lens has an Arca Swiss foot.
First question: What kind of dovetail does the Evolution use? Is it a Vixen-type dovetail?
Next: What might be the best way of achieving what I'm trying to do?
One possibility would be mount -> dovetail -> Arca Swiss clamp -> Arca Swiss foot. Unfortunately my arca swiss foot doesn't seem to have a pair of 3/4" threads, else I would try to bolt it straight to the dovetail.
Suggestions appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Mounting Telephoto Lens to Telescope Mount
Telescope mounts use either V dovetail (Vixen type - 1.25") size or D dovetail (losmandy type). Most likely your mount comes with 1.25" V saddle. Just get a V dovetail directly attaches to lens collar?
