Tried a remote iDK20" telescope to shoot NGC1566. Light frames suffer hard-to-remove images of unknown interferences. The imaging system asks for tuning.
Nevertheless, this remote service has a quite low charging rate.

Cloudy and rainy weather has persisted for weeks. But this early morning predawn, a glimpse out of the south-facing window caught sight of a few bright familar stars -- Crux!
Quickly assembled my photography gear (non-tracking tripod) and captured a small number of exposures. The main objective was to test the optics of my 50mmF1.4 lens -- there are annoying aberration patterns in the star images from the lens wide open.
18x4s subexposures captured a lot of high clouds. But still, the integrated image gives some hope for clear-sky days sooner or later.
