Building a collection of interesting stars through small telescopes.
I guess this is one the lowest-mass stars you can ever fin. The Teegarden's star. It sits on the lower mass limit of a true star (0.08x mass of Sun) -- which is the upper mass limit of a failed star -- Brown Dwarf.
It is also one of the nearest stars to us, at 12ly. But it is cold (2637K) and dim (~mag 15). But we know this low mass star will shine for trillions of years (conf. to. Sun's 1 billion years ONLY).

A new supernova in NGC514.
