Thanks to the fair weather, this evening saw mostly clear skies and I could track the day-to-day motion of Venus passing Regulus. Now it has moved to the eastern side of the star.
Did a little light painting to illuminate the foreground subject. It saves the photo indeed.

Amazing photos, i will like to ask how you do your polar alignment, i followed the Google maps method but i do get trailings when i shoot however the good news is that the trailing is very consistent irregardless of exposure time from 3-4s all the way to 60s in the length which puzzles me greatly

Can you give more details of your system? It sounds not like the trailing might not be primarily attributed to polar alignment error.
Re: My astrophotography 2021
Over the last three days I went to shoot planets/moon but came back almost empty-handed. Bad weathers are to blame.
But last evening it was different. And it started with a nice sunset -- pretty cloudy.

I went down to Marina Bay again. And watched how the cloudy skies turned to almost cloudless over a time frame of 2 hours or so.
The moon rises before it goes behind the clouds.

When it rose to the level of MBS top deck, the skies were mostly clear.
But it did not make too nice a composition. A surreal feel too strong.
