M15 Pegasus Cluster

Post by celeron787 »

1st proper guiding session, some hiccups but managed a decent image in the end.
PHD2 multi-star guiding is phenomenal, managed a keep rate of almost 100% subs compared to about 40% without guiding.
Also 1st light for my H-alpha modded D5600.

M15, also known as the Great Pegasus Cluster, is a globular cluster located in the constellation Pegasus. It is also one of the oldest known globulars in our galaxy and one of the most densely concentrated clusters of its kind.
