Possible creation of Newbie thread

Hi all members
Singastro forums admin is considering the creation of a sub-forums specially for newbies. The aim of this new thread is to make it a place where newcomers can feel free to ask any question related to this fascinating hobby. Do you feel such a thread is necessary? Pls participate in the poll and share your thoughts on this issue.

We can also have the FAQs and usual links e.g. where to buy scopes, scope review sites etc as sticky on the sub-forum.
