Hi people,
Here's my rendition of the eclipse sequence. The sequence could not be completed due to low lying clouds after totality and i was zombieified by then!

Nice.....Just occurred to me, is the orange colour due to the morning sun?
Seems this red moon is consistent with pics taken all over the world.
wierd man...I've seen a "Red" moon as it rises in the evening but never a red moon at sunrise.

I don't think it's earthshine, as the moon is in earth's shadow, so there should be no light reflecting off the earth onto the moon.
I'm not sure myself what causes the red, which by the way was really spectacular when i saw it myself May 4th. Maybe some light gets scattered by earth's atmosphere so that the earth from the moon is not totally dark, but is lit up at the edges?
