Hi.

Just want to share some images I took with a Creative NX Ultra webcam.

All images taken on the evening of 25th April.
Processed with Registrax 2.
Taken with Meade ETX 90 MCT.

Theophilus group, Mare Nectaris and the Altai scarp

Closeup of Theophilus, Cyrillus and Catharina.
(Note the impact markings on the floor of Catharina and the central peak of Theophilus)

The above photo was edited for aesthetics using photoshop. Here is the original processed result for comparison.

Great read spot and some cloud detail visible, but some fringing distortion due to overexposure?

My best image so far.

The webcam and processing really brings out more details than the eye can see. I can just barely make out some cloud structure in the eyepiece and the GRS is not visible except for the telltale shape of the SEB. I must say I'm quite happy with the result from the humble 90mm maksutov.

The dark splotches above the NEB are interesting cloud formations that I've noticed travelling towards the right in relation to the GRS over the past two weeks. Wonder what they look like in clearer pictures..

Thanks for looking!

Clear Skies!
Chris
