Beginner shots with lousy equipment

Post by Nikonian Foo »

I finally ignored Murphy's law and took my first few astro shots last year. Shot with lousy lens, flimsy tripod, Unbranded film in strong wind conditions. I did not expect to get any nice images at all. But to me, as a first timer, these grainy, blurry images were shocking good.

interesting.. never knew that I could just use my 50mm and 20mm lenses to take such pictures.. I always had the impression that you need long focal length lenses for taking such pictures..

cheers

Hi,
Equipments is seconadry, what we really require is a dark and cloudless sky to get a good image... seldom happen in singapore... :(
