I finally ignored Murphy's law and took my first few astro shots last year. Shot with lousy lens, flimsy tripod, Unbranded film in strong wind conditions. I did not expect to get any nice images at all. But to me, as a first timer, these grainy, blurry images were shocking good.

Beginner shots with lousy equipment
to me as a beginner, the image is quite clear.. hehe.. if i can start off with taking this kind of pictures, i will be very happy.. hehe..
