Nice...(they'd better be)..look at all the cool equipment they have and probably dark skies too. Again...is this the true colour of the comet's tail?
If so, then its likely not simple ice and dust evaporating away from the nucleus..

I've seen the same colours in other images as well. Amazing detail and beautiful colours! I wonder what causes them.

probably made from the same materials as out fireworks?
as the different elements get heated by the solar wind, they burn with a different colour...but of course, it could also be simply be light being refracted through the tail differently

I found a brief explanation of the colours from the Sky&Telescope site:
"Three tails are seen here: a greenish tail pointing upward, a blue ion tail, and a brownish dust tail." "
