Thanks for sharing. Amazing they did everything from the raw materials for the glass up to the OTA manufacture and the production line is so big!
In any case, that part where the guy spray paints the OTA without a respirator does not seem like a safe practice.

actually it is not all done in one factory... if you look at the forklift that is getting the crucible full of molten glass, it has a label on the side - OHARA. stands to reason the glass melting / pouring is actually done at an Ohara factory.
this is from a Japanese TV show similar to "how it's made" (on Discovery Channel). so they took some liberties and didn't mention that this episode was shot in several factories.
