I was driving home when it happened. all lights went out! strangely, from hougang to tampines to jurong lights are out yet the few blocks next to mine are fully lit!
too bad sky not clear, not a weekend, else it would be a very very rare occurence..maybe more rare than the venus transition!

must remind me to get a few solid torchlights cum lamps...

I heard the power failure was not due to any technical fault but due to gas supply from indon suddenly cut off ...leaving the power station with no fuel...

wrong time to black out...

should have blacked out entirely in singapore for hours during clear and new moon nights...that would be great... :D:D:D

then again, this is wishful thinking...the possibilityof this happening is nearly 0 :(

My whole estate was lights out, but strangely enough, the roads were fully lit! So, it's doesn't make a difference whether power out or not...also the moonlight was terrible! I moved my dining table to the window and could see what I was eating by the moonlight!
