a 15" Obsession Ultra Compact

Here is the place to talk about all those equipment(Telescope, Mounts, Eyepieces, etc...) you have. Not sure which scope/eyepiece is best for you? Trash it out here!

if you are interested to get Obsession 15" UC, you should also consider the Obsession 15" Classic. The UC is slightly more compact for travel but not necessarily a lightweight. The Classic weighs just slightly more but it is more rigid and better light-baffled. Some UC owners have considered and added more baffles and protection. Btw mine is a "clone" similar to the Classic.

Thankfully with a 16" f/4.5, that secondary is out of reach for most kids :)
Don't bet on that!

Parents would normally lift their kids to the eyepiece for them to peek and guess where their little hands will rest onto? Normally the eyepiece...but if the secondary mirror is within reach, you will never know.... :twisted:
