How do I take photo of bright object in the sky

There are few ways and this are the most common methods.

Afocal projection
Taking a photo via your eps using. Can even be done via your phone cam on brighter objects like moon

Prime AP.
attaching a CCD or dslr your scope and it acts like a lens.

I dave, I have tried the first method but the object is too bright
