Awesome Kochu. So much details. BTW, why is there so little blue in Trifid? Due to a filter?

Hi Rich
Thanks
The absence of Blue may be due to the CHST panel used for color blending which was not tweaked to enhance blue

Hey man, I'm so encouraged to see that we can take images like these in Singapore!!! I haven't started yet so was worried that it's too bright here to get anything I'm super excited to begin (now just to spend some time in the beginner's forum to figure out which telescope to get...).
Seriously tho, amazing pictures!!!

Hi thlightbrigade,
Thanks
It is possible from Singapore
But the learning curve is quite steep, unfortunately, as only Narrow band imaging with a cooled CCD Camera is the only satisfactory solution.
A better route may be using DSLR Cameras from a dark site , first and then CCD/Narrow band.
In any case a Good mount is a must. I chose 'Value for Money mounts' EQ 6 and Losmandy G11 . EQ8 also may be a good choice if you drive.
Anyway it depends on your pocket. No harm to jump straight into Astro Physics or Bisque Mounts if you can afford.
As for Scope, an ED refractor 100 to 130 mm under Focal ratio 7.5 is a good choice.
Finally the Image acquisition takes time, an average of 3 hrs. So a permanent set up helps.
Best of luck
