Are you in a rush to buy a telescope? Why not you join some sidewalk events to find out about the different scopes before you decide.

Not really in a rush, I just want to look at some different sites that have different prices

Rather than doing all the homework by yourself, you can get help from the fellows stargazers in this forum by providing,
- your budget,
- what you plan to do with scope,
- any preferred choice of scope,
- etc
The guys here are more than willing to help you.

That's the spirit. Patience and research is very important if you want buy a good telescope that will keep you happy for a relatively long time.Johndepro wrote: Not really in a rush, I just want to look at some different sites that have different prices

Re: Web site for telescopes
I'm glad you've found what you main interests are in Astronomy.
While you've decided on your choice of telescope design, I hope that's because you've handled them or viewed through them during the sidewalk sessions and not rely on manufacturer's advertising for their pros and cons
If you are willing to be a bit bolder, you can also try shopping for used items, here on Singastro as well as www.cloudynights.com and www.astromart.com. Shipping from the US will be significant but often good used items can be found for a very significant discount off new. Its of course important to verify for yourself that the item is indeed in good condition.
