NASA reports that the Sun is about to flip its magnetic field as part of its regular 11-year cycle. Basically the sun's polar magnetic fields will weaken, go to zero and then emerge again with the opposite polarity. It happens when the Sun's inner magnetic dynamo re-organises itself at the peak of its solar cycle. Scientists are already seeing signs that the North Pole are going through such a change. After the flip, the Sun will continue with the other half of its current solar maxima.
Here is a report from Science Cast:

Past events tell us to expect changes to world weather when the Sun does this. For me it is imaging as usual This 3 colour image was taken on 18 Dec 13.

It is how many people, less fortunate than you, got to look through it."

How many devices we have to keep tracking space and explore its mystery. The uk space company designs, manufactures and deploys rockets to clear the way for small satellite manufacturers looking to access Space.
