CLEAR SKIES!!!!

Post by kcy »

Just scanned the night sky. I have several reports of a very nice thin moon cresent! Further more I sighted several quite dim constellations. Even the coat hanger can be seen! Are we going to waste today like yesterday and the rest of the week?

After all the clouds clouds clouds the past few months...I guess I can't complain. I can see the whole of Pegasus, albeit dimly, from my living room window and using my bino, was able to see a very dim Andromeda.
Zenith is clear with Mars, Formalhaut and Grus clearly visible....
Would be a good time for someone not so fussy to go to Dempsey for a session...

So the weather seems to be improving afterall. Again ... once past midnight, over here in Toa Payoh Central (29/10), the Northern and North Eastern skies are crystal clear. Cassiopeia, Perseus, Auriga and half of Orion are all visible through my window.
