Hi,
The M42/M43 - The Great Orion Nebula again... the 2006 version. I took this during the last observation session... should be the best M42/M43 I had taken so far. :D :D

Below is the information of the image for those interested.

Object: M42/M43 - The Great Orion Nebula (31 Jan 2006 00:00Hr)
Telescope: Sky-Watcher 120 F8.3 Achromatic Refractor on Vixen GP Mount
Camera: Canon 300D Prime Focus with LPR Filter
Location: Tampines, Singapore
Remark: 19 Images (6 x 10s, 1 x 30s, 11 x 60s, 1 x 90s)
1) RAW processing and Alignment Using IRIS
2) Stack and Process Using Photoshop
3) Noise Reduction Using Neat Image
4) Crop and Resize Using Photoshop

What is IRIS? Not heard of it before.

IRIS is an astronomical images processing software.

You must show me how it's done step-by-step! Can I pop by your place one day?
I'm also new to the software, now only know how to perform star alignment and basic stack... will explore more of it rich features when got more time.
