Suggestion : Saturn Watch 2003 sub forum ?

In anticipation of a possible influx of new visitors to our website before, during and after the event, maybe we can create a dedicated high visibility sub-forum section for all post related to Saturn Watch 2003.

But I am not sure if this will do more good than harm, because the negative aspect is that this may create confusing overlapping of relevant topic sections.

As a result, members might not know which section to post. For example, if someone wanted to show a photo of Saturn taken during this event, should he post to the Saturn Watch 2003 section or the original Astrophotography section ?

Perhaps a high visibility and sticky thread in General Astronomy is already sufficient ?

Hi Gary,
Folders created are meant for permanent topics. As planet shift in and out of favour due to time of year, it may not be practical. Also, the current organisation was shrunk down to make it less confusing as well as take in consideration the number of daily posts. Hence it would be better if a new thread under "Observation" be created instead. You can ask CC to a sticky thread. As for photos, it should reside in the astrophotography section for easier future reference.
