Tried posting an image(abt 56kb) but i get the following error.
"Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 11512 bytes) in /home/sgastro/public_html/attach_mod/includes/functions_thumbs.php on line 188"
What do i do?

I think it the resolution of your image... I forget what is the maximum resolution that you can post... It had a guide line listed in the attachment page, but now it is no longer there...
Anyway, try decrease your resolution.
