Going Lunatic with Baby Q

Post by cataclysm »

Hi all, Like many of us here, just never ever get enough of shooting the Moon. This is also Baby Q's first light. Below was a mosaic of gibbous Moon taken 3 nights ago, it was a 30 frames mosaic ( yes very 'kia su' lot of overlaps ). Taken with DMK 21 mono camera, the image scale was boosted with TV 2.5x Powermate. And with the compactness of the Baby Q, I was able to acquire these images from the widow of my apartment.

Oh! 30 frames! [smilie=admire.gif]

Nice one! As for me I can take only 6 frames mosaic with my new setup until now. :(

Cheers!

Hi all, thanks for all the nice comments.

Hi Remus, you are right on this one. What this baby lacks in aperture, its able to make up for in superb contrast and sharpness. The illumination is also very even, the tonal range is very consistent from subframes to subframes, putting the mosaic together is really easy.
