Re: New Comet Atlas

Another comet to watch, Comet Neowise. Due West NW on 22 Jul for the best view in the evening at an elevation of around 30deg. But likely challenging as towards build up Malaysia.

Re: Will there be a partial solar eclipse tomorrow?

Hi bro, Have not heard from you in a while! It happened from 11 am this morning I think, but if you watch the video, it will not be noticeable in Singapore. Best place to watch this would have been in Taiwan. You can refer for the info below : https://www.timeanddate.com/eclipse/in/singapore/singapore

Re: what Planet is that?

Hi refshah, Based on the description, it should be Venus. It's a morning object at the moment. The obvious sign is its very bright. If you want to sure, use the free app "google sky". It will be able to identify objects in the sky by pointing the back of your phone at it. :)' If you look up after 10...

Hi
So you were the one who got the C8 EdgeHD. Technically the quality of the scope is better than entry level.
Your image of Jupiter is great! :)

Re: Where do I find the best astronomy guide/materials online?

You can consider investing in a book. This is the best guide for beginners, and updated after many iterations.
