Northern Malaysia also not so lucky, been cloud and rain since last 2 weeks. Just as i thought my luck would run out, after midnight on 31st the cloud suddenly vanished. I second that... really marvelous image(s). The wonder of CCD and the processing skills of Remus. I've seen Remus work few months ago in KL and the first thing comes up to my mind "This guy must be really good at image processing and creative one too"

Thanks for all the help :) How will Jupiter and Saturn (I haven't got a chance to look at them) look like in a 3 inch telescope? Will they have some features compared to Mars I've seen without features. You can try this Telescope Calculator here. Nice little webpage that help us newbie to visualize...

I'm considering buying from a friend a 20-180x100 sakura bino, but never heard about sakura brand name before. Is it wise to have that kinda big bino with zoom features? In terms of mounting yes i have a good tripod to spare. :)

If u are using Starry Night Pro ver 5, u can click on the OPTION side bar then go to STARS menu. Under STARS menu u will see a list of option setting such as GLOBULAR CLUSTER, MILKY WAY, PULSAR and another STARS submenus, point your mouse on to STARS submenu and STARS OPTION will appear, click on it...
