Hi Friend
I was inform by Dr. Chong Hon Yew from Penang-USM that he is having an Biggest Star-Party in the Klang Valley- "The Summit USJ shopping centre" from 18/11/05 to 20/11/05- 3 days event for all astromomer in Malaysia and neighbouring countries. We are welcome to join him.

The proposed activities are:-
1 Exhibition of astrophotographs taken by amateur astrophotogragher
2 Astronomy Fair
3 Talk by amateur and professional astronomer
4 Cimpetitions for school and individual such as quizzes,space-art painting ,model-making of aliens and space-craft, Messier Marathon, Best Home-make Telescope, Best Astrohoto and other
5 Planetarium show
6 Aerospace Exhibtion
7 Telescope makeing demonstrations.
8 Sunspot / Solar flares and making of sundials
9 Workshop on making spectrohelioscopes
10 Workshop on water-rocket launchers
11 Telescope Clinic

I plan to go to this event on 17/11/05 night takeing the night train up to
KL and booked cheap hotel and food. Reach there in the morning of 18/11/05, we can check in hotel the go meet Dr.Chong at the "The Summit shopping centre to see the exhibition. We can stay there to go shopping or other.... We will leave KL on the express Bus back on 20/11/05 morning and reach singapore in the evening.
We have to pool all our expense /hotel/foods- Estimated expense about S$300.00 each.

Good crowd! Was only there on Sunday afternoon but the exhibits and talks did attract a lot of shoppers. I also did some shopping! Heh... :=P

Was there on sunday afternoon also. Get to watch unformal presentation by remus, talk on astrophotography by perseid. Great astrophoto!
