well, physicist are currently looking for an equation ( or equations) that can fully describe the 4 fundamental forces of nature: Weak, Strong Electromagnetic and gravity. Currently, we have quantum theory(which deals with things at atomic level) and einstein's general relativity(concerning gravity)...

ic but to an amateur, it's dazzling. Btw, a theory of quantum gravity has yet to be theorize. Probably a lot of those unanswered questions regarding black holes could be solve when physicist discover that theory, but for now we can only speculate.

we sure have alot of theory like einstein's theory of general relativity and special relativity and string theory. I'm wondering what criteria must a theory meet so that it becomes a law or principle?
