Alright, this is for sharing of your observation experience. Or, if you are arranging gatherings, star-gazing expeditions or just want some company to go observing together, you can shout it out here.
i can see orion from my room but is only restricted to an extremely small piece of sky as my table is in front of the window and the next flat across is juz like 100m away. manage to look at rigel and some stray stars near it but it is very pleasurable. sky is quite red but the contrast is still very sharp. guess its been too long since i look actually see stars..
yes...saw capella burning bright up there but actually its still very cloudy....pegasus and Cassiopiea remain hidden away...
usually the central area i very cloudy..i suspect weixing in tampines should be getting a much clearer view ..

Tally for the past hour: M31 in Andromeda (ok, just a fuzzy dot), M42 in Orion (good to see the trapezium again.. nebula very distinct), M45, and double clusters in Perseus (first time seeing these - nice!).
Hi,
The sky was quite clear at 18:00 in Tampines. So I issue an initial observation "order" for my usual observation gang. At 19:30 I found that a big patches of "red" cloud coming from the east and the sky have a layer of thin cloud... I predict the cloud may cover the sky soon, so I cancel the observation.
I was wrong... fool by the unpredictable weather again... Round 1: Weather 1 Weixing 0. The "red" cloud "perform" a detour and now the sky in Tampines is very very clear... too bad my scope and mount is not so portable... another reason to change my scope...
Anyway, will have a short observation session tomorrow (4 scopes on standby), hope the weather will be as clear as tonight.
Have a nice day.
