Singastro Festivals 2004 : 12 Nov Friday (Today!!)

Dear all,

The Festival is finally here! Remember to come on down to the Concourse at S'pore Poly later today. The 2-day Festival kicks starts with a talk by Mr Vincent Kee and outdoor stargazing.

Festival Schedule:
NOVEMBER 12 (FRIDAY)
1845 : FESTIVAL REGISTRATION
1900 : PRACTICAL ASTRONOMY
2000 : STARGAZING

yup! I'll be there but probably close to 8pm only. Have yet to receive any admin instruction for the scope people...so we just turn up and set up?

Our "transportation" got last minutes ugrent assignment, so cannot bring me and ariefm to SP tonight. So, anyone from the east are driving there... can pick me and ariefm up??

what time you going?? Can help me bring a laser collimator? hehe
No idea... and it is raining in Tampines. I got both a sight tube and a laser collimator, so don't worry. I'm more worry of how to go there now.

:wink: Hi Weixing hav u solve ur transport problem? Do u wish to share a cab there? By the way u should not worry too much the winds are getting strong and the rainer is heavier, :idea: should be able get rid of the rain clouds. 8)

Yes, I am bringing the 5 inch Mak with EQ3-2 tripod. Should be able to squeeze together with ur scope into the taxis. :idea: 8)
