Leonids Observation in Woodlands

Hi guys,

Just have a talk with a couple other 'Singastroians'. Decide to hold a small observation for Leonids 2004 just right in front of my block. Venue would be in Woodlands, its a big field in front of my block! I believe this is the first official 'Northern' Observation, so be sure to attend (Special Treatment to Northerners

)

Some info on Leonids:
Predicted peak : Nov 20, 5.49am (Singapore)

Note: Be sure to bring your own ground sheets. Its a grass field alright.

Will Sam Lee be the "Weixing" of the West?..
Then every Friday and Sat night, singastroians will have a choice of either Tampines with Weixing or Woodlands with Sam!

Haha, no problem. But i don't want reporters running all over me!

Might be screening Enterprise and Battlestar Galactica if weather is bad (pui~ pui~)

well...in law having his ops today...so not too sure if I can make it to Dempsey....the sky has been relatively decent the past week and I think we have a pretty high chance of good skies either tonight or sat...clear skies!
won't it be great if we can try out the perseid truss dob ? heh heh

Hi woodlands gang :

i will be in tekon mandai park 11/20 early am hours - a few minutes walk from my block if the sky is Ok..
but looking at the weather.... no much luck

From wad i know, weather was bad for most of spore... Hard luck cos I live <1km from that field, most likely will come with scope if still observation on today.
